Honest accounting for indulgence
Neutral is for people who are not quitting the omakase. It shows what dinner cost the climate and the ocean, and settles that cost at the supplier’s price.

Step 1
Link a card, or enter one dinner
Neutral reads card transactions through Plaid, looks only at restaurants and caviar shops, and asks you when it is unsure. You can also enter a single dinner by hand, no account needed.
Step 2
See the footprint, with sources
Each dinner becomes plates and grams, then kilograms of CO₂e shown as a range, citing the study behind every number. Species and ocean notes sit beside the carbon, because the ocean cost is not measured in tonnes.
Step 3
Settle it at cost
Carbon is settled with durable removal at the supplier’s published price. Seafood adds an ocean contribution you set, spent on mangrove and coral planting. Neutral adds a 15% fee, shown as its own line.
Step 4
Keep the receipt
Every settlement gets a receipt that names what was bought, from whom, and the year it is delivered, with the certificate once it exists. Funded and delivered are tracked separately on a public ledger.
What we will never do
- We never say a meal, a flight or a person is “neutral”, “offset” or “guilt-free”.
- We never add tonnes of carbon and mangroves into one impact number.
- We never name a project we have not paid.
